Never attempt to program a radio with a low battery. Voltage drops during data transmission can corrupt the firmware and brick the device.

Open Device Manager on Windows to ensure the USB cable is assigned to a working COM port.

In the main software grid, enter your frequencies in the and Transmit Frequency columns.

Open your Windows Device Manager and expand the "Ports (COM & LPT)" section. Find the name of your programming cable and note the COM number (e.g., COM4). Go back into the CS-F3001 software settings and change the port selection to match. Error: "Incorrect Model" or "Mismatched Firmware"

You are trying to use an outdated version of the CS-F3001 software on a brand-new radio, or you are trying to write a VHF file into a UHF radio.
