Rtgi 01702 Release Fixed
In versions leading up to this patch, games utilizing highly bright, localized particle effects (like magical spells or plasma fire) would overload the shader's ray accumulation channels. This caused intense, rapid flickering across the entire screen as the algorithm failed to settle on a light value.

Improvements to how the shader interacts with a game's depth buffer, reducing flickering and incorrect shadow placement. rtgi 01702 release fixed
Developed by Pascal Gilcher (also known as Marty McFly), the RTGI shader operates by processing a game's existing depth buffer to compute more accurate indirect lighting and ambient occlusion. A key advantage is its broad compatibility; by working solely with depth data, it does not require dedicated RTX hardware and can function on a wide range of video cards, effectively democratizing advanced lighting effects for the modding community.
Update immediately. Follow the clean install guide. Spend ten minutes tuning the settings. Then enjoy global illumination as it was meant to be—fluid, stable, and breathtaking. In versions leading up to this patch, games
The 0.17.0.2 micro-update directly targeted how the shader behaves when rays intersect with the screen border. The update addressed these problems through several key improvements:
Extract your copy of the qUINT_RTGI shaders and textures directly into the game's reshade-shaders directory. Step 2: Configure the Global Depth Buffer Click on Edit Global Preprocessor Definitions
Launch the game and press the key to open the ReShade overlay.
