When disaster strikes and a Windows system refuses to boot, standard backup restoration can fail if you are moving the system to different hardware. Insert your bootable USB drive or DVD into the target computer. Restart the system and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup (usually by pressing F2 , Del , F12 , or similar during startup). Change the boot order to boot from your recovery media first. Save the changes and exit. The computer will now boot into the Acronis environment.
