Open a terminal as a privileged user and run a command in the following structure: eset convert username and password to license key new

Method 1: Using the ESET License Converter Portal (Recommended)
: Track all software nodes through the unified ESET Business Account or ESET HOME portals.
: Click Convert . Your new 20-character License Key (formatted as XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX ) will be displayed on the screen.
Your old Username/Password is now permanently converted. You no longer need the old credentials. Going forward, use only the new License Key.
